Wound Care

United Wound Care

Each of our doctors are specialists in lower extremity wound care, serving patients both in the private offices, as well as multiple Wound Care clinics in Northeast Ohio. We also work closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure each patient is treated a whole person, not just a wound. Depending on the individual needs, patients receiving treatment for wounds are often referred to Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Infectious Disease, Physical Therapy, Home Nursing, and even Dermatology and Rheumatology. We also work with suppliers to get wound care supplies delivered directly to our patients.

Our providers strive to leave no stone unturned to find the right solutions to healing difficult wounds.

Types of wounds evaluated and treated by our providers:

  • Diabetic Foot ulcers
  • Pressure Ulcers on the legs and Feet
  • Venous Stasis Ulcers
  • Arterial Ulcers
  • Burns on the lower legs and feet
  • Skin cancers on the lower extremities
  • Wounds from infections, including osteomyelitis (bone infection)
  • Injuries of the lower legs and feet

If you are suffering from any of the types of wounds mentioned above, please call to schedule an evaluation. The sooner a wound is treated, the sooner it can heal.
